For every iter of water that disappears into the upper vesse four iters of water fow from the water ram into the pond. Limited efficiency is of course not a probem if you insta such a system near a fast-fowing stream or river into which the water that has not been pumped up fows back.

For a good cacuation of the efficiency you mobile number list must take into account the height of the water suppy and the pumping height. Water rams are certainy not suitabe for use in areas with a shortage of water or fat areas without streams and rivers. However there are penty of suitabe paces in South Limburg and the Ardennes.



With a ot of rainfa for exampe it is possibe to start a gray water circuit with a water ram Appication The water ram was invented in the th century by the Briton John Whitehurst. His design incuded a tap that had to be opened and cosed manuay  times per minute. One of the Montgofier brothers - known as the first to take to the skies in a hot air baoon - improved his design a few years ater with an automatic contro vave in pace of the tap and in  obtained a patent for the automatic water pump.
