Printing on white, colored and transparent roll substrates is also possible, including heat-sensitive materials, shrink films, recyclable non-PVC materials, etc. According to the company, the MP-31 series inks have UV resistance up to 2 years outdoors without lamination. For printing on rigid materials, the printer can handle substrates with a thickness of 16 mm and a maximum weight of 15 kg. An optional media alignment system can be fitted to easily align rigid media on the front side, allowing for perfect double-sided printing. For roll-to-roll printing, the 1627MH accepts additional equipment that automatically wraps finished jobs, improving productivity. Switching between rigid roll-to-roll printing jobs is fast with no lag. The new printer is immediately available through MUTOH's reseller network.
